YouVersion for Churches allows churches from all over the world to have a presence in YouVersion—an app installed on over 500 million devices worldwide.
We wanted to help pastors from all over the world to gain access to valuable data about how their church is engaging in the Bible, offering them helpful insights as they make decisions about sermon topics and programming for their ministries.

I collaborated on the User Experience Flows to the dashboard, Church profiles and other features in the app. Designing for a global brand like YouVersion is challenging and fun at the same time. We carefully considered our design choices as a team since this app has more than 538M downloads worldwide and over 1,300 languages.

We explored best design practices, industry-standard practices for displaying information, legal liabilities (especially in Europe), discouraging bad actors, and onboarding pastors to create a profile for their Church.
Church Profile
Another of my contributions to my team was the Church Profile explorations and final UI design collaboration.
These are sketches of some ideas and research from analogous applications. Our goal was to provide all churches with the same ability to create a delightful page with the right amount of information that can be designed quickly and with minimum effort.
